This is the last of my "Dear Mama" series (although I have to redo Maybelle so that she fits the coloring style). This is Sweetheart and Amber's mother, Diana.
Diana was a radiant person, not just in hue, but in spirit, too. She hated seeing anyone suffering or in any way in need. She was extremely giving and would even go as far as to give the shirt off her back to anyone in need of it. When a friend was sick, you could expect to see Diana at their doorstep within the hour of the announced illness, bearing fish soup, tea and whatever else she could fix up to help get them back on their feet. And with Diana's cooking, it was a sure thing.
Diana was a marvelous cook and baker. It was a trait that she found her eldest daughter, Sweetheart, shared. She passed down all her knowledge of the culinary arts to her and it was a dream that they held that they might one day open a shop together and share their passion with the world. ...but, it was not to be as the world herself stole Diana away from her loving family, breaking them apart forever.
Sweetheart later went on to fulfill their dream when she opened the Sweet Shoppe. Their dream was started together even though it was not the way they planned, she knows they reached it together, too. She is her mother's daughter, after all, so they can never truly be apart.
