Someone asked me to post what inking technique I might employ for the second issue of Hybrid. Well, this is essentially it. These are pages of works that I did for Shanda Fantasy Arts', Katmandu series. The left panel is how the majority of the story looked, but when the apparition appeared, the tone took on a much lighter value scale. I think that's the look I want for Hybrid. The only difference is that I would boost the darkness of the grey just a bit (like in the third revised page on the right) so that when supernatural things are going down (just like in this scene), I could knock the grey back a bit to help the viewer understand what's happening (like in the middle panel).

I'll have to draw up a scene eventually to try it out and make sure the feel is good, but yeah, I think this is the direction that Hybrid may take in so far as visuals
