OKAY! After creating the poll for the concept for Alley Cat Blues, the polls gave me results that were kind of close. Someone gave me the idea to just draw out character concepts and see which was best. I know THIS isn't exactly a fair image, since the character's hair style makes her look kind of youngish So, the boobs may look...not right, but, I just wanted to hash it out so people could see. So far, on this site, it's option no. 4 leading with option no. 3 a VERY close second! I'm gonna have the poll on another site just to see if that close race can be distanced a bit. INSIGHT AND INFO ON ALLEY CAT BLUES:

Although these cats have human-like bodies, they've got a lot of feline traits! For example, these cats do not live in houses or cook. They eat out of the garbage, or the flesh of rats that they catch, or any other means that a cat would utilize to attain food. They sleep under cars or on rooftops and live, essentially, as cats do.

The only real thing that would be different would be their relationships to each other. I do want to maintain the fact that there is typically one male who has his territory and the females that live therein would be his to mate with so long as he isn't beaten by some other tom. However, he has a favorite female and the story would focus on her and her children whom, when they get older, would have to leave her and venture off on their own.

I'm a HUGE romantic so, unlike real cats in this situation, I want them to be able to fall in love and have that sort of relationship with someone. What I was thinking is that one of her daughters isn't in agreement with the "sharing the one male" thing and decides that when she takes a mate, her mate is hers and hers alone! She's not sharing!

Another story could center around one of her sons who finds his own territory and becomes the dominant male, and has many mates and subsequently, many children.

The other stories would follow her other children and so on and so forth.
